Privacy Policy

MantaLoop provides software that helps dive operators manage enquiries, bookings, and guest communication. This policy explains what personal data we and the operators using MantaLoop collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. For guest data, the dive operator you booked with is the data controller and MantaLoop acts as their processor.

Information we collect

• Account data for operators: name, email, business details, and login credentials.
• Guest data: name, contact details (including WhatsApp number), messages you send us, certification and dive experience, equipment and trip preferences, and booking and payment status.
• Health screening: where a trip requires it, we record only a pass/fail medical clearance. We do not store the underlying medical answers in your profile, and clearance details are kept separate.
• Usage data: technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To answer enquiries and manage your trips, bookings, and arrangements.
• To communicate with you, including over WhatsApp, about your booking.
• To keep you safe in the water and meet diving safety requirements.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, under appropriate safeguards — for example WhatsApp / Meta for messaging, Stripe for payments (we never store full card details), and AI providers used to draft replies. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and safety obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. For guest data, contact the dive operator you booked with; they can also reach us to action your request.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation so each operator's data is kept separate.
